Fall is in the air in Tucson! The cooler evenings, colorful sunsets, and family-friendly events make this season one of the best for getting outside and making memories. Below are the top fall activities for families in Tucson this yearâincluding updated events, dates, pricing, and what to expect.

We have 50 acres of homegrown pumpkins (courtesy of Post Farms) so you can find your own personal favorite to take home. Walk through the patch and explore, as you find large ones, small ones, and ones that suit you just right! Thereâs a pumpkin perfect for everyone!
Admission includes: Maranaâs famous Corn Maze, jumping pillow, diesel train, farm playland, plenty of rides, mini diggers, pig races, paddle boats, mini tractors, and more!

Dig up your zombies and grab your ghouls! Show off your boo-tiful costumes at Reid Park Zoo for a delightful, not too frightful, family friendly evening at Boo at the Zoo, presented by One AZ Federal Credit Union. Youâll have an enchanting time with the whole family at this Tucson Halloween tradition. Proceeds benefit Zoo animal care, operations, and education programs.
Timed entry only: To make sure everyone has enough room to spread their bat wings, tickets to Boo at the Zoo will be sold with entry times this year and must be purchased in advance.

Looking for some Halloween fun that isnât too spooky? Trail Dust Town is excited to bring you Not Too Frightful Fridays! Join us from 5 to 8pm on Friday, October 11th, 18th, and 25th!!!
The celebration includes $8 unlimited ride wristbands good for the special Halloween train ride, Ferris wheel, and scavenger hunt. You will also enjoy the 5:30pm mini costume parade around the gazebo, trick-or-treating at the rides, the Pistoleroâs Haunted Halloween show, and fall-themed drinks and snacks. Costumes are encouraged!

Nightfall 2025
Nightfall operates on Select Dates from October 2nd â November 1st.

Now in its 33rd year, Arizonaâs premier western haunt, Nightfall, returns to Old Tucson this spooky season with more scares, larger haunts, and all new entertainment, attractions, craft cuisine and creepy cocktails. Stay tuned for updates and announcements on season schedule, special offers and of course, which super-villain has taken hold of the town of Nightfall. Experience 20+ acres of new terrifying haunts, mazes, roaming scares, stunt shows, musical theater, magic shows, comedic dissections, delicious food/drink, and family-friendly attractions!

Pumpkin picking is open daily last weekend in September to October31.
Pumpkins are an important part of fall here at Apple Annieâs. Â
Journeying into our pick-your-own pumpkin patch has become a timeless family tradition for many of our families who come to visit us year after year! There is something so satisfying about finding a vine of gorgeous, orange pumpkins and claiming that as this yearsâ perfect pumpkin.Â
We grow over 40 acres of pumpkins each year and by the time fall comes around it is a sight to be seen! Rows and rows of beautiful,orange pumpkins, from mini pumpkins to extra-large; with 25-30 different varieties of pumpkins, including the very unique WARTY pumpkin,  you are bound to find that perfect one for yourself!
Come and take a wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch on one of our wagon spulled by âSweet Bippyâ our Farmall Tractor or one of our many green John Deeretractors. You will get a mini tour of our beautiful farm with the Winchester Mountains or Mount Graham in the background. You wonât bedisappointed by the beautiful scenery that surrounds our farm.Â

Can you master our corn-fusing outside adventure through our corn maze? Â Bring your family, your friends, bring EVERYONE to experience our ultra-fun corn maze!
How will you challenge the maze? Go in as a family? Boys versus girls? Â Can mom and dad really beat the kids to the finish line?
Either way, itâs a fun time to be had as you wind your way through many twists and turns of corn as you try to find your way out of the largest corn maze in Arizona, 12.5- acres!!
We have 3 levels of difficulty⌠so there is a level for everyone!!

For those of you who do not want to pick your own pumpkins we have bins FULL of perfect pumpkins under our barn you can choose from. Feel free to browse through them and around our vintage wagon to find your perfect pumpkin.Â
