Where to Watch Fireworks in Phoenix This 4th of July (2026)

The Fourth of July turns the whole Valley into a light show, and in 2026 there's more reason than ever to get out there — it's America's 250th birthday. From Steele Indian School Park to downtown Mesa to the resorts of Scottsdale, here's our family-friendly guide to where you can watch fireworks (and a few drone shows) across metro Phoenix this year.

Heads up for 2026: July 4 falls on a Saturday, so expect big, festive crowds. A few shows run on July 2 and July 3, too, giving families multiple nights to celebrate. All shows are weather-dependent and subject to fire-condition changes — always confirm with the organizer before you head out.

A note on safety: Consumer fireworks that shoot into the air — bottle rockets, roman candles, mortars — are illegal in Phoenix and most Valley cities. Please enjoy the official professional shows rather than lighting your own. It's a hot, dry time of year: carry chilled water, wear light clothing and SPF, watch for signs of heat exhaustion, and never leave children or pets in a parked car. All shows are weather- and fire-condition dependent and subject to change.
